Even if it did work there'd be no point, because 3.72 HX-1 is just a hex hedit of 3.71 M33-2 with the usb fix applied... Mathieulh said so, and I investigated it myself and found that vshmain.prx and recovery.prx are decrypted and hex edited. One thing that I can suggest, is running the 3.71 M33 installer from the GAME folder with the kernel set to 3.72, and seeing if it works then.
